I have a new article in the July edition of Ring Magazine. It's part of their Ring Fundamentals series, where they ask a writer what his or her favorites are in terms of forgotten fight, favorite boxing movie and favorite boxing book. For my picks and explanations, I provided the John Molina-Mickey Bey fight for a great forgotten fight. I picked Diggstown (known as Midnight Sting in the U.K.) for a favorite boxing movie. For the book, I chose "In This Corner" by Peter Heller, which is an oral history of the sport given by 42 champions from the first decade of the 20th century all the way to the 1970s.
The July edition is available now at newsstands or via digital subscription. I hope that you enjoy it.
