Pound-For-Pound Update 7-17-14

With Saul Alvarez's split decision win over Erislandy Lara on Saturday, he returns to the Saturday Night Boxing pound-for-pound list. By defeating Lara, he now has beaten three top junior middleweights. He reenters the Rankings at #17. Alvarez was last ranked in 2013 but was dropped after his wide decision loss to Floyd Mayweather. With Alvarez's addition to the Rankings, the previous #20 fighter, bantamweight Shinsuke Yamanaka, falls off the list.
